Dont Waste My Time

Isnt it funny the people you meet and talk to when your selling your car, like people who bid on Ebay or others who say they want to buy your car but when it comes time to pay up come up with some lame excuse as to why they cant.like only their time is of value, why bother to waste my time?disbelief

okay. i not trying to waste your time but i'm going to put a spin on it. people are self centered it all about them. i retired a couple of years ago and thought i would take a part time job in retail. canadian tire to be specific. not a stressful job but something to get me out of the house and give me pin money for cars. oh my gosh what a eye opener. i never realized everybody wanted their butts smooched and wiped and if it wasn't on the shelf. be prepared to get a ear full of what they thought of crappy tire. i could go on. but i really think majority of people purchasing anything demand full service and damn to everybody else especially the seller. okay i feel better.

Today was one of those days for me. Woke up with a splitting headache and it went downhill from there. Luckily the headache went away when it mattered- home time!

I always call something sold when the money is in the bank. Same thing. Lots of buyers until it's cash time.

I try not to do that but because I am always looking I imagine there are people who have thought of me as being like that as well.

I retired from UCAR in Dec 2003 and in Nov 2007 the company asked me to come and help out while one of the Process Engineers went on 5 months maternity leaveaww  I did the job was asked to stay on another 3 weeks and given a party when I finished the contract.  This financed a great deal of the Malibu!  What was so special is the appreciation by UCAR. Organizations are ok but as you say "You get Customers and CUSTOMERS!furious

another classic, is after you've sold it, the guys will line up and say "you sold it for what???" "i would have given you more for that!"...but they weren't offering up the cash when it was for sale... i hate that...
