I think it is interesting that they offered a 250 Chevy, 350 2-barrel both Chevy & Pontiac, Chevy 350 4-barrel on the Lemans sold in Canada. Pontiac didn't have a blue block 350 4-barrel after 1969 when they dropped the 350 H.O. They didn't come back witha 4-barrel 350 Pontiac until 1974, the year the GTO switched to the Ventura platform.

The high quality McKinnon Chevy engines were used because the cars were built in Oshawa and by far most production V8 orders would have been the 350. A St. Catherines to Oshawa supply line only made good sense both logistically and economically not to mention keeping the long standing tradition of powering Canadian built Pontiacs with Chevy power.
Thanks C2, I have two 73 from Canada, one from the US and the 73 accessory brochure, full set of glove box owner's manual and warranty info. I even have a protect-o-plate. I have the rest up to 77 as well.
