The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons

Connie and I saw this movie tonight. It tells the story of Benjamin Button, a man who starts aging backwards with bizarre consequences. The story is well done but I would have to put it into the "Chick Flick" category. Think of it as "Titanic meets Forest Gump". You'll understand what I mean when you see the movie. Is it worth seeing? The ladies will really like it. For the guys, you'll find it good for the old cars! I saw the same 63 Catalina 3 times! biggrin The movie begins during World War 1 and ends in 2005 so you get a chance to see a wide range of vehicles from several eras.

Brad Pitt did a great job portraying Benjamin Button as did Cate Blanchette as "Daisy". The movie is long being over 2 hours. I'd say it has all the usual ingredients to get nominated for 13 Oscars.

I give it a 7.5 out of 10

Thanks Todd, probably will have to take it in prior to Oscar night, I heard it is 3 hours 20 minutes, and no intermission.

Since Todd classes this as a 'chick flick' I guess I am going to have to take Mary instead of Darryl! We certainly don't want to set any tongues wagging. I'll try and go this upcoming weekend and submit the review at that time. Given the length we better grab an isle seat.
