Hi guys, here the resto update. I was off the resto a bit with more and more job in the garage. This year I've more customer's job than ever... what happen? I don't know. Anyway, here is where I'm now!
You never disappoint us, always fun watching these updates. The one good thing with your time taken up with your customer's cars is the garage is making money. That makes it a little easier when it comes time to work on yours. Great job as usual.
the car is near completion, it goes back to the bodyman for touch up and fender/hood alignment. After, front end installation, all the wires are ready for the flasher and light. I always said to my family, I would love to go at Hershey with the Pontiac when done. It's Hershey time! I make reservation and I'll there with the Pontiac. If you go there it will be a pleasure to meet you. Look for the only red Canadian 53 Pontiac!
Fitz.

I've been there once in 2002. What a feeling, 2.5 days to get out of the flea market. And what about this «meal» in the morning, big something hotdog like whit a big greasy sausage and a mountain of over cooked onion over the top! BEURK! and don't forget, it's 7 in the morning...... and our night we've take the nearest rest area as a Holiday Inn.

Now the car as been completely assembled, wheel alignment done too. Tire replaced! And road test done! Why it was so long to get back? in parts because a lot of job in the garage, also, I get out with the car on week end, and , Hemmings make us a surprise, within 10 days they called us to have the car in their Concours d'elegance in Saratoga Spring NY! wow what a day! and the route 9 to go down, what a road! And why not with costumes?
And it touch any heart in the world, the Pontiac met is father «the big Poncho» for the first time...snif! (Rivière du Loup, Qc)
Its been two years since I drove through St.Hyacinthe and Riviere-du-Loup and I love driving that road on the south shore of the St.Lawrence I can only imagine what it is like travelling in that beautiful 53 and at 70 mph too!
Beautiful Andre' ... enjoy! I loved following your build ... just a hint of all the work you put into your car!
