Geez, they used to go for $75 US and up. A proper LeMans /GTO one can go for over $200 as the tach is slightly different and uncommon. If you have half a dozen I think you should consider posting them on eBay. I have a spare Firebird one just like the one in auction.
The other diffference is that the LeMans/GTO tach is an 8000 rpm while only early FB one are.
maybe i shouldent have cannabalized mine then!? oh well, gives me a little more piece of mind and i think it looks good, now im on the hunt for a little tach to go in the other side.
Hey Trevor, I was going to do a similar thing at one time, You can get 2 1/2" faced tachs at Canadian Tire and of all places Wal-Mart for a reasonable cost. For an experiment it might be the way to go.
yeah, i was looking at them in canadian tire on sunday, i just forgot to measure the size i needed before i went. Wal-mart? really? i will take a look on the weekend. thx
