65 grille and rear trunk trim paint

Anyone know whether the black paint in the grill and on the trunk filler aluminum panel is flat or semi gloss?
Happen to have an extra set of ACADIAN letters? I sure could use them.
Thanks

Flat black for the tail trim. Paint it all and wipe the top of the fins with thinner to remove the paint to expose the chrome. I use flat on the grill fins to hide the flaws but I don't know if it is stock. The mint grills that are original that I have are flat. Hope that helps. Any rocker chrome for sale or trade?

If I had the rocker trim I'd lock it in a SAFE!!!
You and I will never find it. I've looked for a year and a half.
Thanks for the trim info. I was told it is semi gloss.

I think I'm going to go blacked out, leave all the emblems/nameplates off. It sucks as it's a real SD, but I don't have any emblems at all. That 4dr doesn't have the acadian letters for the trunk does it?

Satin Black is the tint I think your lookin for, its halfway between semi-gloss and flat. Its pretty much a flat black, but with just a little bit of shine. GM used it by the gallon,.. almost.
