great article, My 1950 fleetleader special is still in good shape , undergoing some restoration as we speak ( slowly that is ) hopefully fire it up later this spring

I remember that article in CA and can hardly believe it was so long ago!.

There doesn't seem to be any pics of the Torpedo back Coupes...they did make them to '50 or '51 didn't they?.
