Electric choke, wire question.

I have an Edelbrock carb. It has a manual choke (which I prefer), but who knows, I could be adding an electric choke eventually.
In building a new engine harness, I'd like to include the power wire just to have it if it's ever needed.
Will a fused 14 Gauge wire be heavy enough? Is it just one wire to the choke with the ground being the engine?

I have an Edelbrock too with the electric choke. Anyway I think I used 12 or 14 guage to a keyed source of power. It works fine.

12ga recomended 14ga is fine.
I sell the carbs all the time.
