Things that will have a great impact on starting price are things like model(?), engine(?), miles(?) and plenty more.

Without photos and the above basic information, it would be hard to start anywhere. confuse

Going out on a limb here Tiny but....... from your brief description it's got the newer "re-sale" red going for it with the  black SS stripes,  solid car etc.  Start at $10,000 then add anything else that he has done to it.  (Wheels, interior, Mods etc....)  Send a better description to Ken (67BBSD) he can give you a better idea.

Kijiji lately has been full of decent Chevelles that start anywhere from $5000 up to the $10,000 mark.  If the car is decent,  you should pick it up!  It would look good beside the '55 Hearse!

Jeff, is that the car seen around town here in Ingersoll in the summer? It has SS trim and factory style SS wheels?

Yeah its the red one in Town the guy keeps the thing perfect. I feel really bad he is selling it if I was rich I would buy it and give it back to him. Its just not right he is going to sell it he really loves the car. But I dont think he is going to be able to work anymore he has heart problems and emvosima I think they might pull his drivers license.

Oh..geez, that Chevelle. That's a damn shame Jeff. That car is his life... Can he park it somewhere until the market improves??

That's a nice looking car. Very straight body lines. Too bad we are in a tough market for selling. You should take some pic's and post it on London kijiji. You get a lot of wannabe's and no cash lowballers but a buyer might pop up.

Yes Tiny just send along a picture or two and a price I can send it through the network of "serious" buyers I have-generally chevelles sell especially if they are clean
