You gotta do what you need to. Some folks can't get there and place metal and rubber ahead of people and their needs. You are to be applauded. You can always get another car. Dad's only come in ones!

Good move, the bright side is on the west coast is they don't rust, so getting a replacement shouldn't be to tough. Glad to hear that family comes first.

Sorry to hear. The nice thing about our hobby is if things get tough we can unload our cars. I've done it dozens of times. The Laurentian is no exception. As much as I love the car, it would be the first thing to go if times got tough.

the car goes first?no    I though you said it was the kids, and dog, and then wife, and then the car?    I got it mixed up!     I'd better call the wife, at her mothers..

We were trading at about 1.26 today so that's closer to $4,200.

ya i would of told you guys but i didnt really want to get rid of it

i just posted a small ad on craigslist thinking that noone would buy it, and my mom said to only put 3500obo and i couldnt really argure anymore with her, she doesnt really know anything about cars she just wanted him to get rid of it, originally she put a ad that said 2000 obo, i told her it was way to low and got her to take it off there no real like bargening with her when she wants to do somthin. Believe me i would have much rather sold it to one of you guys, i was just hoping we wouldnt end up selling it atall. I was really unhappy with who we sold it to also, the guy was an electrition that didnt know anything about cars and wanted it because he only had a work truck and wanted a car to drive around, i asked him if he had any plans of restoring he said "no, i just want somthin to drive around". I regret not putting it out there more now, he didnt really need the money it was more my mom didnt want it around anymore. But whatever its alright
