Thanks for posting that article Randy.I really Love these cars and alsways wanted to take the Blue STE and build a wagon.Just nor enough time.

Would like to see someone do something with these cars before they are to far gone .

Pretty neat that these cars actually drive as a rear wheel drive and when you put the trans lock on for AWD then the front axle is also driven.

In all the years I worked at a GM dealer in service I don't recall ever seeing one. I vaguely remember hearing about them. Neat car.

I remember the look on my friends face who safetied the 89 STE when he saw the driveshaft.I had told him on the phone what the car was but I think he thought I was joking.

My brother bought a 2 wheel drive one of these only to have the tranny go on it in months after buying it. Turnned out the original owner had bought an expensive extended warranty and it only cost my brother a $100 to fix.
