Note however that he says he's selling because he doesn't have space for the car yet he's willing to trade for a Corvette. Hmm, can he put the Corvette in a transporter and store it in mid air somewhere?

There are alot of articles wretten about these cars, But they are special to those who appreciate what they were. There is a guy in b.c hoarding these thing because he hopes to cash in (ie, Barrett jJackson) but they were stock cars, the 1le package worked great but it is nothing like the copocars of the sixties. People have to quit trying to get rich on these things and just enjoy them for what they are. Look around at the kids today, what are they driving? IMPORTS! why? because everyone wants big bucks for what should be a parts car! I dunno, been building playing, selling(hope for a break even) For 20+ years. Sad that the hobby will probably not survive as kids can't touch these cars anymore. At least my kids will get to enjoy my car on the track for what it was, not what it may someday be worth. Just my 2 cents
Yes, I can't imagine anyone ever writing a song called "She's so fine my Honda 1.9"..
Did you ever hear the German version of Ronnie & the Daytona's " Little GTO"? It's about the VW Golf GTI called "Little GTI". It's probably on YouTube. I think it's funny!
I love Bobs photo of the Corvette on the big sign, that says "they dont write songs about Volvos"
That is part of a series of posters GM use to issue every year for the Woodward Dream Cruise. I have most of them. There is another one for a 57 Chev where the caption is something like: "When even your parents were cool".

Where might I find the other poster? The Corvette one that Bob has?

Wow, that might be tough. I guess ePay is your best bet. As I said, these were part of a series that you could get at the Chevrolet display from roughly 2004-2006. They had a set of 4 for each year. I doubt someone would want to break up a set but you never know...
