Ya, it does suck. I don't want too. I'm 18, graduated from high school, so I am trying to look for a job now, what a pain these days, everyone applying now and all these companies want people with experience. So I applied at a grocery store that I previously worked at and see if I can get back in that atleast. Over here its tough to find indoor storage or is kind of expensive for me, 100-250 a month they want.
I have no idea on the undercarriage or frame, the frame and floor looks solid. Its such a low car to begin with, that I can't really get under it to look at. I have never had it on a hoist or got under it before. But they do look and seem solid.
sorry you have to sell your ride, Mike. Dont stop looking for work, yes it can be discouraging at times, but keep plugging away, dont fret too much about having (no-experience), alot of employeers would rather have someone with no experience, they can train you the way they want, some companies are intimidated by experience as you may know more than them. Companies look for folks who are go getters and have motivation. Have you tried changing the Horn Relay in the Riv.
Thanks, ya, the store where I am looking at wants to train me if they hire me, since they know I was a hard worker back when I had my part time job with them. I am good with computers so at first I was looking for office jobs, but they want 2+ years of experience of university, etc.
you had made reference to a fusable link, or maybe something small. the horn relay is manager of electrical current coming directly from the battery, and distributes current to your other elec. systems, Bloody thing can give all sorts of frustrating problems as,i.e car is absolutly dead when turning the key yet lighting system and radio work. On your car it may be located on your firewall, look it up in your manual as to its location. the relay is just a sugestion
Your car maybe to new for a Horn relay, another area to look at is your Neutral safety switch, I looked up your ride. For colum shift cars, it located under your dash along your colum. What it does is, simply insures you cant start the car unless its ineither park or neutral. It too will sometimes over time get out of adjustment, and your car simply will not start and will give the impression of something major electrical is gone wrong. The switch can be adjusted, check your manual.
He is asking a few questions at once. What is the lowest price you will take ? What is the cubic inches of the engine ? Lastly he is making his comment about the interior condition. He is tryiny to lowball you because it does not have buckets seats and a consule with a stickshift.
In this economy everybody wants a deal. My advice to you is email him back and tell him we will talk price when you come and have a look at the car. If you are absolutely firm on the price it is listed at email him and politely tell him I am not negotiable on the price it is as low as I am prepared to go. Good luck with the sale.
In the ad it says 430 engine. If he doesn't want column, then he can look for a GS model and pay more. I am not gonna budge if he wants a deal from me. I don't want to sell the car in the first place, and they want a low ball offer. It won't work, I already had someone offer 1000, rejected that quickly.
to bad you couldnt get it to TINY"S and have him look it over and get it running for ya then you would'nt have to pay storage on it you could just drive it.
Ya, I was going to send it to get it fixed but I still need the storage because I don't have a parking spot here. Now in a condo, and only have 2 parking spots which my mother and sister have.
I wanted it as sort of a project, still do, I am still debating to take the ads off. I just need to find that storage.
Hey Not to sure, a couple of months probably. Just until I get a job and get sorted out. As to whether or not its inside or not, I'm only worried about as to whether it's safe. I am not to concerned about the indoor heated storage, indoor or outdoor as long as the car is safe.
Thanks for the support, it does suck. I am really tempted to take the ads off. It's listed on ebay too, the auction ends in 2 days with 15 watchers and 1 offer. If its not sold by then, I have decided I will probably not relist it, I will keep it and try to find that storage.
