got interested in production dates,because in some cases the production figures for beaumonts are based on year totals so in a few cases the numbers are out of wack as we found for 1969 ,where there is at least 4000 cars past what is stated in some books,as calendar year totals only,maybe somethin will come of it?

yes,vin last 5 digits,because there was only one plant,should give the actual totals for any given year,ive already found some late build cars,into june and july that are above published totals,id like to do this for acadian and full size as it may help see how many were built of them
I can help a little bit for 65, or I can start it if you like.
In the interest of confidentiality I will likely put XX for the last two digits of the VIN. I have done that on another site with some other cars I have been documenting. It still pretty much gives us the info we need without revealing actual VINs.

I should mention the reason I did XX is because 2 of those are not my cars and I do not have the owner's permission to post enough of their VIN that someone may be able to figure out the entire VIN. It would be relatively easy on these cars. For example, if I know someone has VIN 01234 65 Acadian and I know it's a Sport Deluxe, the total VIN would be 571737001234 for a 6 cyl or 571837001234 for an 8 cyl. Too easy for a dishonest individual.
I am going to start copying VIN and tag info from wrecked cars though, that is for sure!
