1970 GMC 7500 on a honkin' big chassis. Has a right-rear flat. That's why it's sitting funny.

We have quite a few of these around our farming communities  They are used to spread fertilizer, spray, spread manure etc.. I used to sell the tires and rims, for our farmers in Exeter area (north of London)  They were used on trucks in pea and sweet corn harvesting... Unfortunately Kraft USA bought the processing plant, and SHUT it down...

Where is Haplin, Mn?

I've seen lots of Minnesota but never heard of it.

We used to see trucks like that around here too.

Its called a "FLOATER".   Flotation tires, minimal crop damage,   has been replaced with the use of the 'HIGH-BOY" nowadays.

Haplin, Minnesota is located near Port Hope, Ontario these days. In fact, it IS Port Hope...........it's a TV shoot. The new show will be called "Happy Town".

American flags flying on all the downtown stores. Bank names changed to U.S. bank names. I'm trying to imagine how many people got freaked out when they drove by that new sign near the edge of town.

The two-hour ABC drama pilot "Happy Town", being filmed right here in south-central Ontario, is about the inhabitants of Haplin, Minnesota, who had enjoyed a seven-year peace after a series of kidnappings until being hit by another major crime.

Amy Acker, Dean Winters, Geoff Stults, Jay Paulson, John Patrick Amedori, Lauren German and Robert Wisdom are among its co-stars.

Gary Fleder, who helmed the TV pilot "Life on Mars," is on board to direct.
