What's this part?


Starting to put my interior together and came across this part.

It's the same material as my headliner but I don't know what it is?

Just a guess, the sail panels on the rear pillars. 

Never had an acadian, so i cant picture the shape.

That would make sense, but the shape looks a little odd.

The headliner came with the car and it's not the original, it covers the sail panel area aswell.

I'm guessing maybe he ordered 2 sail panels not knowing they weren't needed with the headliner he bought?

Not the right shape for an Acadian hardtop in the back window either, is it? One of those things that makes you go hmmmmm.

Well, those are the wierdest looking sunvisors ive ever seen.

nothing else up there,  Just the headliner, sail panels, and sunvisors-thats all.

Yup, it's in and fits, just need to add the metal trim pieces at the bottom of the sail panel to hold the bottom of the headliner snug.

By trying to make a one-piece headliner you just end up with more wrinkles! I would go for the separate side panels!
