Question on Acadian decals


Can anyone tell me the proper decals and there location for the inside of the decklid? Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill, there is a jacking instruction decal and if the car had posi also a decal for that. I think the jacking instruction decal is pictured in the owner's manual I will check, if not I will look for info in my master catologue. I just put the jacking instruction one on the flat spot to the right of the inner bracing on my Acadian and the posi decal on the left side of the bracing, not sure if when they were assembling the cars at the factory if it wasn't just a close location to this.
p.s. I talked to Chuck about your upper body moldings and clips and the black insert and all, I am sure he probably told you.

Sorry Bill I couldn't find a diagram of the decal placement, must have saw a pic in one of the resto catalogues.

Don't put this decal on a canadian car. That is the USA instruction decal.

Canadian cars had 2 different ones

I can only speak with regards to the chevelle/beumont Abody cars

this first pic is correct for LATE 1964 thu 1967 beaumonts and canadian chevelles

The second pic is correct for EARLY 64 and 63, 62, canadian cars of all models.

My wife's 66 Canso still has the sticker in the trunk from factory I will try to get by the shop on the weekend and take a pic
