1969 pontiac parisienne brought home today

Just thought you guys might want to see some pictures of a 69 pontiac that I brought home today. Its a Parisienne 2dr ht,with a rebuilt 350 and turbo 400 trans(not stock tranny, previous owner installed)The car was stolen, driven a few blocks, then they threw bricks at it to break most of the glass. When the owner got the car back he was so upset he decided to sell it off.I bought it for the engine and trans,it will go into my 66 beaumont SD,the rest of the car will go outback untill I decide what to do with it,but dont worry ,no scrap dealer will get hold of it,If anyone needs any parts let me know,if theres enough interest I may part it out, thanks,Rob.

It seems pretty good, I like that roof trim with no vinyl top.

It actually looks fairly solid.

Funny how the kick panels on the red cars always turn white. Any other colour usually stays intact.
Is that Palladium Silver or grey primer? Silver on red...kind of nice.
A L48?

Get it onto the 65-70 Full size registry.

Is there a way to refurbish plastic panels inside the car?  Can they be dyed or something?

Ill get out some trim numbers for the car tomorrow. The car looks better in the pictures than in real life, and even better at night in the rain.It has some rust around the rear wheel wells, bottom of the front fenders, and lower corners of the doors, the trunk is fairly solid with one repair area on body mount area, havnt checked out the floors or frame but i hope to this weekendThe colour is a faded silver,Ill check the code to find out the original colour

No sign of the original vinyl top,if it had one,no fuzzy pieces under the drip rails either, the vinyl top mouldings are there but nothing else so someone really took their time to remove all traces of it.
