Nice looking stuff Matt! Its makes me smile, to think of someone, putting that stuff on, to make the car look correct... I took some much of that stuff off, for me and others.. Imagine taking out the Hurst Shifter, and installing a Munice! Imagine removing smooth riding radials and installing bias ply... Strange to me...lol Carl
How ironic you post these pictures of the smog parts. I purchased nos smog tubes for my wifes 1981 Z28 Camaro. I have to replace them this spring as the originals were starting to rot and were leaking so I removed them and just plugged the holes in the manifolds for the time being. All the rest of the smog parts are still there. The tubes were not cheap.
Not meaning to hijack this thread, but brings up an interesting discussion. I dont think any canadian cars from 66-70ish would have had the smog equip.
You see it factory from some california and other US plants.
Anyone out there have a factory 66-69 beumont with factory documented smog equip?
I did have a 74 malibu canadian car with factory 350 smogger. so i know by then it was available(or probably reg prod by then).

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH. The other one has a longer roof.
I have a friend who had a 1968 Camaro with a 327-210 powerglide. This was an original Timmins Garage sold car he bought from the original owner and it had the smog setup. His pump seized and I had one from a car I parted out we used on his. I wanted to remove all the smog stuff but he didn't because he was going to school in southern Ontario and was afraid of getting stopped for a smog check at the time. In Northern Ontario we still do not have a Drive Clean program.
With regards to smog pump usage on Chevy & Chevy-powered GM cars in that period, the smog pump was used on manual transmission V8s or any V8s with open-element air cleaners in Canada FOR 1968/69. For 1970 the TCS system replaced the smog pump in nearly all cases; the smog pump remained on the dirtiest running high-compression engines (like LS-6 & L-78). By 1973 models everything came with the smog pump and EGR valve.
Smog pumps in 1966/67 were only used in California (which eliminates Beaumonts). Closed PCV systems usually were California-only until 1968, but some engines like the L-79 used a closed PCV system everywhere from the start.
