Are deals you don't need still a deal?.

Like a lot of you guys who cruise the cars/parts for sale world, often cheap deals pop up you don't need but you'd probably go buy anyway?.
Here's one on a pair of magnesium minilites that are waaay underpriced and I'd probably buy...maybe a good thing it's on the opposite end of the country for me!?.

Anybody else spot and pass on any under $100 bargains lately?

Does over $100 count?

I drove home another 94 LT1 Roadmaster today that I don't really need, but I couldn't pass it up.....

I will move the discussion of it to a new thread since I am derailing your intent here!

I tend to stock up on Acadian stuff that I hear about. I really don't need a single Acadian part I don't think. I am pretty sure I can finish my car with what I have. However.....................!

And like you say, the under $100 stuff can not be refused. I always justify it by saying "you can't find this stuff any more".

Here's another one that may be cheap...right in Steve's backyard too!.

Looks like it's for a '56 150/210...too bad about the missing chunk but it may be a factory 1/4?.

With a repair chunk, a door, fender and some paint it'd make a cool wall art piece!

I confess, I have bought a "spare" headlight switch, a "spare" horn, a "spare" water temp gauge simply because the first ones I searched and searched and searched for came so dearly (read: expensive) that I could not bear to let another one go to someone else for less  ....  and (yes I realize that this is unnecessary justification) if the good one I bought first died, I would not have to go through that loooooooooooong search again.
