It took only a few viewings (some years ago) to figure Fox News out. Fxxk them!

I'm doing something useful this afternoon. I'm heading down to a bridge over the 401, in Northumberland County, to hold a very large flag to let the families know that many Canadians recognize the troops contributions and to honour them and their grieving families on this sad day.

The bridges from Trenton to downtown Toronto will be lined, as they always are, by Canadians who support our troops. I have no idea whether the person standing next to me supports the mission, but I know for sure they support the troops and that's good enough for me.

Four more heroes roll down the Highway of Heroes today.

The last of four caskets has been placed in a hearse, so I'm off to the Highway of Heroes to await the sad procession. It always amazes me..........the feelings felt as these valiant young men pass under our bridge.

Well we got the apology.....sort of anyway, not that it changes anything. I could care less about an apology, what I care about about are the 116 Canadian lives lost. Even Don Cherry was choking back the tears Saturday night.

OTTAWA A Fox News host is apologizing to Canadians in the face of widespread outrage over comments he and his guests made on a late-night talk show.

"Red Eye" host Greg Gutfeld says his comments "may have been misunderstood" and in no way were meant to disrespect "the brave men, women and families of the Canadian military."

Fox News issued the Gutfeld statement just after the Canadian government demanded an apology for what it called the "despicable" and "disgusting" comments.

The recent talk-show segment came just before four more Canadian soldiers were killed in Afghanistan and featured a group of pundits taking turns trashing Canada and its reliability as an ally.

They were spurred by comments from Canada's army chief that the military would need a year's hiatus to regroup and refurbish after its Kandahar mission ends in 2011.

Gutfeld said in the Fox News segment, widely aired on the Internet, that the Canadian military "wants to take a breather to do some yoga, paint landscapes, run on the beach in gorgeous white capri pants."

"Isn't this the perfect time to invade this ridiculous country?" he said. "They have no army."

Support our troops to the end! Some one should tell fox news that nobody's flying airplanes into our stuff!! No wonder the americans are not well recieved on the global stage. F%$#@&g yanke pukes!

Doug Benson, he's the one who said that he didn't even know Canada was fighting in Afghanistan, but that didn't stop him from spewing out more uninformed garbage. "Isn't Canada where you go when you don't want to fight?"

CTV is reporting that organizers cancelled him, probably did him a favour. Have a look at the photos, does anyone think he would have the guts to repeat what he said in person?

Here's a picture of my father over in Holland in WW2. He always said to me that he hopes his son never has to fight in a war and go thru what he went thru. I say ship all those morons to fight with our troops and then put them on the air again if they make it back. That would be a great show to watch.....better than any apology

If you were in a foxhole, under fire, which guy would you want beside you? Corporal Penney (on the left) whom I suspect is a member of our JTF2, or Pvt. Kloss (on the right). I know which one I'd want, and he's not wearing a helmet.

Call your Cable subscriber and tell them you will be dropping your Cable TV unless they drop Fox News from their lineup. Better still E-mail the sponsors of the stupid show telling them you will be boycotting their products. Anyone want to start an online petition to send to the sponsors?
