This was just posted on another Pontiac site. I've never seen this one before. Maybe I'll spring for the stripe kit this summer. The details list the SD 455 as available, of course that never happened. The only difference between this and a GTO was the standard extra 50 cubic inches.

There is a White with Red kit available which is the only one that seems to go with blue. Phoenix Graphics has them. They also have the Black with Red and Gold with White.
That's the first I've seen of it as well, looks cool though.
Ray, no offence but before spending the big bucks on the stripe kit (Phoenix Graphics?) I would seriously consider repainting the car it's original ascot silver - just my opinion but I wouldn't go through the effort to put the stripes on your current paint job.

No offense taken Hillar. I don't disagree, but a repaint is a lot of years out, stripe kit is under $300, not that much to freshen up the look. The other thing is that Phoenix just released the N98 1973 stripe package too which was available on all LeMans. I sort of like it better.

I am kind of partial to the GT stripe kit more than the GTO Stripe Kit. As you can tell as I didn't put the GTO stripe kit on my car. I didn't want the look that is in the attachment that I found on the internet in the same color combo. I do not believe that the stripe on the car is correct. The strip seems to be to wide in the door area and is to far forward in the center of the door.
Keep in mind that this is not my car.

Amazing that someone can go to the trouble of restoring a car and not even do the most preliminary research to get something like the stripes right. It's not as if there isn't enough info out there...

Go for it!! would really dressit up The price is less, than taking me, out for dinner!
Hey everybody. Thanks to an invite from 73SC I thought I would jump on this forum. Attached are the dealer album pages on the '73 LeMans GT as it would be sold here in the states. It details how the GT option was packaged and listed what additional options could be ordered.
I just purchased a 44,000 mile '73 LSC GT last fall that was built in Oshawa from the original owner. It came with the base Pontiac 350 2bbl, auto trans, and very few options. Car is mostly original except for a repaint a few years ago. The original owner did not replace the GT stripes, but I plan to as soon as it warms it. The car is Florentine Red and I bought the gold/white GT stripe kit from Phoenix Graphix.
I will post some photos of the car as soon as I get done with detailing and stripe install.

Welcome Bill, we need to swell the ranks of the 73 LeMans so thanks for coming on Board.
I see our Canadian Poncho Superstar and most senior member by posts 427Carl has already welcomed you too along with 87 player bird, both of who have unique Canadian Pontiacs.
We look forward to seeing photos of both of your 73's!
Do you own that white GTO made famous by the Johnny Lightning die cast and pictured above in this thread and your avatar ?
If so our 73's are celebrity cars, mine was on SPIKE TV.

Welcome to the site BillyGoat73. The members on this site are a great bunch of guys. Do you also belong to the A-body site, as I think I have seen your postings there as well. Mike
Thanks for the welcome. Your forum gives me a little different perspective of the '73 A-Body that for a long time was lost and now seems to be coming back. I am also a member of PY Forums and The A-Body Site.
The Cameo White '73 GTO is mine and has been around since 1984. Pictures have been posted of that car all over the 'net. It's also the one that was used for the white Johnny Lightning diecast. That was a nice honor to have that done.
I have a '73 Desert Sand LSC that I bought in 1976 and retired in 1989 with 207,000 miles. Body was getting rough from Western New York winters and it's now just a shell rotting out back of my house. Too far gone. Very sad every time I look at it.
The new star in the fleet is the Florentine Red LSC GT that I found in West Virginia. Here is a photo from the original owner and a couple from the day I picked it up last September. I am installing new springs to restore the ride height, adding GTO sway bars for handling, and installing a fresh set of GT stripes. Hope to bring the car up to the HMP Pontiac Show in Hamilton in June.
