stickers!

I recieved the decal package the other day! Getting closer to getting the t/a back to it's racing glory! Not cheap though, (860$) the wife was a little miffed that I'd pay that much for them. Oh well, she had the same reaction when I dragged home the 69 goat that didn't run. She'll get over it I hope lol.biggrin

So when do you think you'll have your car done? Is it short term or a long term thing?

Trying to get a body shop on board is tough! I have a couple to see this weekend, if I can get it in, should be able to get together by the end of the summer.

FWIW...

About 10 years ago I went to a guy's place North of Lakefield Ontario for a Liquid Cooled Mercury Sno-Twister engine and he told me he'd been a Players series team pit crew member..
He mentioned he'd saved some spare and good used parts from the ILE cars and wanted to unload them cheap..
Who knows if he still lives there or has the parts anymore...I have no idea of his name or number but 'may' be able to spot the house again if you want me to try?.

And have you seen this one yet?.

Yes I've seen that add before. I think my wife would kill me if I went to the other side of the country to buy another Project car. I flew out to Edmoton in august to buy mine, and she almost killed me when I got home( You know, YOU PAID WHAT?? FOR THAT?? confuse) lol. Who know's though, I think it's a good deal. Maybe a road trip is in the future.

Get your wife to become part of the scene! My wife is not too miffed at a 2nd project after she heard the Oooh's and Aaah's around the Malibu today

Already tried that when I dragged home my 69 gto rag. Was not impressed from start to finish. After it was done she was affraid to drive it in case something happened to it.( I built it for her) So being that it was an automatic, I sold it. Did quite well too!smile
