I wonder what the famous CHP will say about that.

They also have special Hybrid lanes on freeways I understand. When GM came out with the Yukon, Tahoe, Suburban and  Escalade hybrid they started changing the legislation to ban those GM hybrids from using the lanes. Whay makes more sense , taking an already fuel efficient car like a Civic and making it a hybrid or taking a large consumer of fossil fuel and turning it into a fuel efficient vehicle like GM has done?

Really? leave to California. These guy's took a year and a half to pass a budget only to raise taxes yet again. They really don't have time to worry about what color my car is. There is a national smog code then there is california smog. J HOLES !

I also read that if you "modify" the windows (eg: tint) you can keep black. Crazy. Don't they have better things to do?

gov rides a motorcycle with no license and our H.P's are already starting to drive white cars thats why this sounds like it could be true. Still have some black and whites all S.O. cars are white and P.D. around here
