Would anyone have a wiring diagram, or know, where I could find, a wiring diagram for a '03 and up GM truck mirrors? I have a set of '08 power Towing Mirrors.. I have a pair of harness ends, out of wreck, that will plug into new mirrors.. I was hoping to find out "which wire" powers the "siganals lites" in the mirrors(only) Carl
C2, for starters, this option is going to be controlled by the trucks respective door modules...That being said, most likely you would have to take it to the dealer to get them reprogrammed for that feature depending on wheather or not the '08 mirrors will be compatible with the system. I have a sneaky fealing they will not but C1 will tell you when he checks his part numbers! But odds are not since you are going from a GMT 800 to a GMT 900 series truck.... Secondly, most of you guys on here know that I was with GM for 20 years and electrical and drivability, as with most areas of the vehicles, was my main work. All the new "bugs" and "hicups" in the cars/trucks I got...I have no problems in trying to answer any questions you may have and I will help as much as possible, if you want me to! I have done a ton of "electronical" work with my cars..... This is also to say that if I am stepping on C1's toes, as he was first to offer, please say so!! Now, that being said, my door rate is $67/hr.....(lol).... Here are your diagrams.....
The mirrors are the largest pullout mirrors with power and signal My truck is a 01, so I know the computer wont drive these mirrors. I was hoping to find "power wire" for signals and wire into my signal lights

You are sure not stepping on my toes! Please go for it. I am certainly not a tech but just wanted to help out Carl as he has done more for me than I will be able to repay any time soon!
You have me waaaaaay out qualified on this one! Thanks for stepping up.

Thank you!!! I may just set a extra battery on the console, and Barb can stick on the right wire, when ever I turn!! Is the 67.00 per hour including shipping my truck to you?
If you're towing a trailer why would you ever need signal lights or is it different in Ontario. The guys out here just think they have the right of weight, you just slowly angle over.

C2, here is the diagram for the '08 year. Hope it helps a little better!! Oh, also fixed a typo of yours....Payment will be fine!!!
You, me and everyone else!!!! Oh, by the way, I take under the assumption that you are going to tap into the signal lamp feed for your mirror signals?? That, obviously, would be the best to do and since you now have the proper diagram, it should be a snap to do.....
