Harness progress.

I've been working on my forward harness when time permits, and this is where I'm at so far. It takes a good bit of time to do this job, and I'm glad the rad support is on my bench.

Detail showing from left; horn relay, ground stud, power point junction and 40a headlamp relays. Two "Littlefuse" brand ATO in-line fuse holders feeding the relays from the powerpoint. Low beam, 15a, high 30a.
Grey and light blue wires are fuse links, one 18ga (14ga hornwire) to the horn relay power buss, one 14ga (10ga main wire) to the main fuseblock power and the last, another 14ga (10ga main wire) to a future 6 place aux. fuseblock I plan to add under the dash. I'm getting rid of the converible top breaker on the firewall.
The heavy 8ga red wire on the powerpoint is the Alt. feed. The small white wire is the Alt. remote load sensing wire.
The big black wire (10ga) coming off to the ground stud, runs over to a passenger side stud, eventually making it's way to the battery negative. I'll overkill the ground system in this car. For the little extra it takes, It'll be worth it.
The aftermarket horn relay key minder buzzer really sounds pathetic compared to the Delco Remy original. I still might just restore the old one.
Everything is crimped, soldered and shrink tubed.
Still have to wrap it all in harness tape, the fuslinks will stay bare.

Hooked up the lights and horn, powered it up and tested it all from the firewall plug. It all works! Kind of neat hearing the lamp relays click, and seeing the lights come on super bright. And I forgot how loud these horns were!

Cheers, Mark.
