'73 LeMans PEI

I'm going to look at this car ... any tips for what I should look for in this model?

I have had three 73-77 LeMans. Notorious for leaking rear windows which pools in trunk and rots our rear quarters. Also Notorious for broken door hinges and sagging doors on two door models like the one pictured, weak rear springs, side windows that won't seal or pop out at speed, generally poor fit and finish associated with GM's of this era. Front fender rot behind wheel wheels.

Remember that this is a one year only body style and there are few reproduction parts made for this car BUT all GM A and G bodies have interchangeabilty. A positive note is it looks like it has the super rare scooped hood, or is that a shadow?

Good Luck, it looks pretty good in the photo.

PS: $7,000 is wishful thinking on the part of the vendor.
