80' Z28 - Canadian Car, T-tops, 4 speed, posi, Turbocharged

I have decided to sell the 80' Z28 as it sits.  I am really into the 50's cars and this car just doesn't do it for me anymore.  I have pretty much lost interest.

Car is partially dissasembled right now for paint.  Fully GM of Canada documented, 1 of 80 350, 4 spd, T-top Z28.

Its an 80' Z that was sold new at Scarborough motors, that I got several years ago and have been rebuilding.  Its a numbers matching car.  Here are the basics:

355 sbc - original block, with  forged pistons, moly rings, road road style wet sump setup (trapdoor oil pan with double kickouts, baffled, HV pump, windage tray, crank stripper, etc), ported 920 casting heads with sodium filled exhaust valves, Z28 springs, etc, turbo cam - 214/224 on a wide 114 lobe sep,  and a bunch more I can't remember off the top of my head - balance and blueprinted and built by Wright Racing Engines.

On top is a Martin 350-1 Turbo setup with a single RayJay 301EE10 turbo (all rebuilt by J&R turbos).   A 800cfm holley is on top,  and an accel setup on the HEI.  On the dyno it made 358rwhp, 508ft-lbs torque in 91 octane at 6.5psi.

Trans is the original Super T10 nodular iron, with a hurst shifter and heavy duty clutch on a nodular iron flywheel.  Can't remember who makde the clutch off the top of my head.

Rear is a trans am WS6 8.5" 10 bolt.  3.42 gears and a Posi, plus 11" rear disks. Stock rear springs (I was going to replace them but never got around to it) 5/8" rear sway bar, adjustable shocks, 16x8 rims and toyo proxess tires, etc.

Front is a tall spindle upgrade for the 1LE 12" disks, 650 in/lb lowering springs, and all new everything, right down to the urethane bushings. Same IROC rims and tires as on the back.  Quick ratio steering box, Hotckiss braces, SSB adjustable prop vavle, vette manual master cylinder, etc.

Body has been done with new lower quarters, new rear panel, and a new drivers side floor pan.  There is also a 6 point roll bar in the car with removable door bars, a ATL Fuelsafe sportsman cell, battery is moved to the trunk,   factory cowl induction hood, etc.

The body has been done and it pretty much just needs reassembly, paint and a windshield.

I have put a lot of money into it and just am not interested in it anymore - it sat in the body shop for almost two years where they took my money and then gave the car back in worse shape than when it when in.  I have fixed all of that and blocked the body tub.

I have a nice interior that goes with it - there is an unsplit dash in the car, nice console, etc.  I also have 4th Gen leather seats for the car.

Comes with lots of parts, spares, and some NOS stuff I collected for the car.

$8k for the car - pics are availble.

Selling the car now in parts...these are how the car looked just before it went to the body shop.  Now it has a standard trunk lid instead of the whale tale.
