Wow, a one of one piece of Pontiac automotive history. I wonder if it can be licensed and driven on the street though, given that it is just a prototype. I wonder if it even has a VIN that you could register?

This is indeed a deep part of Pontiacs history,this is the car DeLorean wanted to build but GM would not let him.It is basically the beginning of the F-body and I believe that the Corvette Stingray and Opel GT you are speaking of were produced after this car was built so "they"look like the Banshee(XP-833) not the other way around.This car was an absolute steal @ $125 US last time it sold.

I agree with you the Banshee's design was used in the design of the corvette and firebird and Opel GT. I guess I said that in my last post in a poor way.
