Good evening everyone!!! The time is currently 11:09 pm and i've just discovered this nice forum via the other vintage car forum i'm already member of, Les Amateurs de Beaux Chars, and after seeing that there actually is a PONTIAC FORUM, i just HAD to jump in!! My name is Alexandre, i'm 22 years old and i'm a mechanic in a transmission/differential shop for heavy trucks. I'm also the proud owner of an '81 Grand Prix LJ, 267cid, all original and still has his Landau Top in perfect shape!!! As far as i can recall in my life, i've always been a true die hard car maniac and especially when vintages are concerned. 3 years ago, i finally had my biggest dream come true when i bought my GP and ever since that day, i'm always on the road with him, hunting for shows here and there!!!! Here's a pic of my GP:
And here's a nice little video i made last summer....
Feel free to share all your comments and questions! It'll be a pleasure for me to reply to you!!!
Ps.: I need a few parts for GP...Anyone has some chrome mouldings and the front inner fenderwells by any miraculous chance??

I was working at a Pontiac dealer when the 81 models came out. I loved them then and still do. I still think that is one of the nicer instrument clusters ever made. Pontiac sure knew how to design dashes when I think back of how many nice setups they had over the years.

Nice GP you have there! I remember when I was about 16 the "cool" guy down the street (he was about 19) had an 81 Grand Prix. I remember the AC in that car would freeze you out on the hottest days.
Your GP no doubt is a fine example of that gen. It would be nice to see more of that type here, so a prime example like yours is really welcome. Hopefully you'll lead more of the Canadian GP crowd to CP.
I had a Blue on Blue 79' 301 GP.
Cheers, Mark.
