Color?. Growing up working at the boneyard I can usually tell the years of most models of cars from the glory years at speed...but seldom remember colors.. I don't know the area intimately but if East of Greer road a few miles helps???

Here's a '60 wagon that had been sitting outside here in rust land for God knows how long. I took these pics about 15 years ago alongside a busy city street by an industrial park just on the way out of town. The remains were down from street level so they couldn't be seen as you're driving by.
I had been driving by it for years and had no idea that it was there until one day I decided to get some exercise and was walking by. Within a year or so all this was cleared out and there is now a VW dealership on the site.

Small world. I grew up (age 10 to 18) at Greer Rd. & Danforth Rd. Worked on the Greer's farm. Doug Greer is a great mechanic/bodyman on antique Chevys. He was the head of GM service at the Cobourg dealership.

On the way to Toronto on the Shuttle bus yesterday, went through Millbrook to pick someone up, and spotted a nice looking 1965? Acadian 4-door. It was black, and looked fairly solid.... On a bus going by at 30kph LOL

Some vehicles I found driving around today. The Acadian and Caddy, were at a garage, the panel was at a shop near my work, and the VW, is a mascot for another garage

Not sure of the engine.. Didn't dare raise the hood!!! I just know she has been there in that one spot a loooooong time as the asphalt is sagged under the tires. There was plastic over the right quarter window as well, it is broken, but that too is long gone.........

Very decent car with the usual holes in the bottom of the fenders and quarters. I do believe it is a 283 and it has the interior almost the same colour as the paint colour...
