You've always threatened to buy a convertible Bug for her. Is it true?

Beautiful buggy!.
The paint style and vintage made me look twice to see if it was a Hebmuller..

So is Brian and his transporter making regular runs from here to where and available for hire?

Same here, she had a yellow one when she was a freebird youth, however she almost got crushed to death by a dump truck in her later model Rabbit some 25 years ago so ever since she prefers larger iron. She still looks at every one she sees, though. One of our sons has had several as fun cars, still has a 73 that he is going to build up one of these days.

I had a 70 that I bought new, red with cigarette lighter (the only option you could buy, if I remember right), under $2000 US delivered. I built a set of 8" wide steel wheels for the rear, cut out the fender openings a bit bigger, stuffed G60-15 tires in there, put on extractor exhaust, tinted all the windows red, added temp and oil gauges to the right of the speedo (cut out the factory panel myself), my daily commuter that was cheap on gas biggrin
