Pair of 68 L72 Biscaynes on display at Charlotte Auto Fair

I saw two original L72 68 Biscayne two door posts at the Charlotte Auto Fair on April 3. Both were four speeds. The gold car was for sale at what I thought was a reasonable $44,500.00. It sold.

Thanks Dave. They were both really nice cars. I would have liked to be able to buy the gold one - it was a low mileage fully restored car that had F41, full tinted glass, black interior, 14 by 6 " wheels, etc. Only performance items it was missing were disc brakes and the tach and guages. But $44G is a lot to spend even if the car is worth it - and in my opinion that car was well worth that money.

If that car is completely #'s matching and in mint shape then that is a good price. These Biscaynes are super hard to find parts for, not much stuff available for the interiors and if there is it seems the colors are off etc. Weather stripping for 2dr sedans is another problem and the list goes on.
I sure see alot more 68 and 69 427 biscayne's out there, where are all the 67's????

Thanks for the pics.
