We have a similar car up at the shop with no motor and trans for sale - i think its a malibu. Seems to be a bunch of these around right now. Rules change make them obsolete or something?

Don't know, Joe just said he retired after doing it for 20 years, too much work plus keeping business going.

Where'd he race it and what class...SLM, LM, Sportsman etc?.

Unless he's changed or cooked it, a competitive motor alone for any of these classes is probably worth way more than the asking price itself!.

What tranny comes w/ it...a Muncie maybe?.

I'll ask what class and where, the engine is a 350 Chevrolet "cammed a bit" not the race motor he once had, he said it is a 3 speed with 9" Ford 3.42 gears right now but he has gears as low as 4.11 I think.
