Just a random thread, based on the fact that I had had a few margaritas, since I reasoned that I had an excuse, it being the 5th of May, which is a national holiday in Mexico, which is of course US Southern border, contrasted with US other neighbor, i.e. Canada, and "Cinco de Mayo" being Spanish for the 5th of May, and then a few other margarita lovers responded ...
Do you like margaritas?
I also make killer Mai Tais, Hawaiian style, nice big float of Whaler's dark rum (accept no substiutes!) ... like this but more dark rum on top
Sorry no orchid or other toppings but you do get a straw so you can sip the layers

Well we have May 24th - May Two Four coming up - a National holiday in Canada!
Hey, May is a good month all around - US Memorial Day national holiday is last Monday in May, this year the 25th - I'll drink to you on the 24th and you can drink to me on the 25th, eh?
And you can catch up with me a few days late on Mexico's May holiday

It's a deal !
To be fair, shouldn't we Canadians send Dave some real Beer to celebrate with?. Our beer tastes like beer should also has a waaaay higher octane rating than that watered down Yankee stuff!. Anyone tried the new Canadian Poncho brew in stubby bottles yet?.

Well I did have some Kokanee when I was on the Trans-Canada train, tasted pretty good, what do you think? and I usually drink Kalik which is Bahamas beer, but haven't compared alcohol content yet. Certainly could go for some good Canadian Beer on your recommendation!
Had friends from Wisconsin down and my buddy's wife drinks Miller 64, when I bought some for her ar the beer depot the receipt came out "Beer $x.xx" for whatever he wanted and "Grocery $x.xx" for hers, we laughed and laughed, what she drinks doesn't even count as beer hahaha.
Dang, now I am thirsty and it will be almost another hour until Happy Hour ... maybe I will just sneak to the fridge for a head start ...

The best Memorial day celebration in the USA has got to be the INDY 500. I went for several years and had a great time. Good hospitality from the locals, lots of beer, women and great racing. I always thought we Canadians partied hearty, but after the 1st year at Indy (back in 83) I had my eyes opened up!
