65 beaumont custom conv.


hello this is ty out of olympia wash. i own a 65 beaumont conv.factory black ,red inter.benchseat 3spd manual 283 black top tinted winshield,two speed wipers,black wall tires,engine block heater,full wheel covers 2 spd windshield wipers,10 bolt 308 posi,maunal sterring,manual brakes ive owned the car since 1993...paid 3,000 dollars for it it hasnt seen the road since 1980......bought it fron a retired constuction owner,who used to own a wrecking yard,lady drove to the wrecking wanting to sell it to get into a differnt car....thats how he got it....iheard about the car through somebody i new..telling me it was a 65 chevelle...took me a while to find it.finally found it the guy didnt want to sell it...but it took me a while...got him to sell the car was ended up being a beaumont conv.which i wasnt told that by the other person....

Welcome Ty. A 3 speed manual ragtop has to be fairly rare. We'd love to have it in our registry. Have you purchased the vintage vehicle package from GM Canada yet? This will give you production #'s

That's a odd combination with the 3 speed manual. Black on red is a very nice combo. So you are from olympia Washington. I should be close to Olympia for the Monroe swap meet. You must be Brent's friend. Only one 65 Beau in Olympia that I know about. Is it you?

hello nice to meet you..i did send a letter to gm when i found out they were starting a seperate dept. to document cars....they did document my car its one of 205 v8 cars built.tried to get all 65 production figures 6640 cars was trying to brake down my car to see how many were factory black on red with the black top...but they wouldnt do it i offred to pay but no luck...they sent me a copy of the shipping sheet with 20 or 25 cars on it..with mine marked in pink ..... found the original build sheet on top of the gauge cluster...taped  it to the gm documention letterhead on the bottom and had it laminated......

hello nice to meet you..one of the pictures which is the grill picture is kinda  ratty typical wear and tear on pictures will try to get pictures up...soon as i can figure how to put pictures up on here....

hello nice to meet you..is the brent your refering to brent mills? if it is ive known him since middle school..will try to get pictures up as soon as i can learn how to put them up on here....some say 3spd colum shift manual conv. with a bench seat was a rare car but 3spd were a base transmision..someone wanted the bare essentials i guess...

hello nice to meet you..i have talked to you before..i was buying 65 parts on ebay...i was orig .going to buy the buternutt yellow conv. you bought out of  kelowna... but seen the car on ebay for sale..was going to have two conv.s  but the 65sd was missing some of the chrome 65 parts very scarce......had a hard time finding  parts for mine ..but some i had talked to gave me a card to a shop that had some of what i needed..and the other person i met he got two cars in his wrecking yard. i bought the best parts off both cars.for a extra set.. i got lucky...i  wont find it again...1390 dollars later....
