I've called every wrecking yard in Essex County to find a trunk spring (I guess that's what you would call it) Let me explain - In my '67 beaumont, there are two rods ( approx. 3/8 dia. ) that act as springs to hold your trunk lid open when you raise the lid. One of mine is broken. Does any one have a spare that they would like to sell, OR can anyone tell me where I can get one. I'm located just east of Windsor Ontario. Sure hope somebody can help.
have you ever seen that guys farm just south off the highway, i think near north woodslee ? Im going to windsor tomorrow for work and im going to try and find that place. He has a crap load of vintage tin there that he says hes not parting out or selling but ya never know. What area are you in?
I bought a trunk lid off a guy in St Catharines, I've misplaced his phone number but its listed on St Catharines kijiji, he's scrapping it tommorrow 67 Malibu sedan-spring were there and holding nicely-low mileage car

I'm 6 km east of that guy, and he will not part with anything. He is the first place I checked. I don't know what he is going to do with all those cars,he must have close to 100 of them.
