The top 10 high-crime cities in the Maclean's list are led by Regina, Saskatoon and Winnipeg in a near tie at between 146.3 and 144.6 per cent above the national average. Those are followed by Prince George, Edmonton, New Westminster, Chilliwack, Victoria, Vancouver and Halifax. Sure glad I live in a safe place like Toronto.
Lived there for almost 15 years, all this stupidity started about a year before we left town. I can remember leaving #5 orange at closing more than a little tipsy, and walking to my apt off of english bay with no worries. it was pretty safe city in the 90's I'll tell ya, the ol' lady worked nights, get off at midnite, walk home, no issues. Sad:(

We've had 4 shootings in are area alone. It's the better part of Surrey, I guess that's where the drug dealers like to live too. They are just killing each other and the girlfriends. The police solve the murder if it's not gang related, but seem to let them kill each other as it's not a priority to them.
