I know, I know, always the optimist. I've got to say though that any convertible are hard to come by. I'd haggle it down as much as possible( 4500) , and buy it cause I'd love to have a 68-69 Beaumont convertible.

I'm not too sure what it is Carl- but better an addiction to cars than VLT's or Crack wink.

When I was about 15, a friend of mine ( also named Carl) bought a 69 Chevelle convertible. It had been well modified, 327, 4 speed and a 12 bolt with 5:38's and ladder bars. Of course it had a "grump lump" type scoop grafted onto the hood with the gauges mounted in the backside. Lots of fun was had with that car over a 2 year period until he sold it and bought a 68 Camaro. Also a nice car, but not the same. Then he bought a  69 SS396 Daytona yellow Chevelle out of Centerville NB, eveything original except for the engine. That was also very fun car!
( BTW, Carl didn't have the money for these cars, his father bought them for him!)
