Cruise Night

Has anyone been to or know of cruise nights that once you have arrived you cannot leave until the night is over ?

and/or

Nobody can leave during the end of the night credits ?

just a topic of interest-I know some shows have taken on similar to these policies and Burls Creek doesn't want anyone moving until 4 pm.

poll attached

I haven't been to one like that. Sometimes it's tought to leave because of the crowds. It's typically a given that the show is over once the 50/50 draw has been made!

The Peachland World of Wheels show that I went to last weekend was like that. Some guys tried to leave an hour or two early and they wouldn't let them. Everyone had to stay until 4. They said it was a liability issue and it sort of makes sense because if they have to leave early they have to drive quite a distance right through all the people that are there looking at the cars. They had made it very clear when you registered.

Yes, I have seen this at a show in the past (Barrie-Burls Creek can't move until 4 pm)-but a cruise night ? Wondering because this is what people seen to like about a cruise night-stop by for an hour then move on, or like Todd said leave before the half and half etc...

Looking for more input-

thanks,

Ken

I agree with you. I like the idea of just going for a while with the option of staying longer just if you want. Especially on cruise nights there aren't near as many people (in my experience) walking through as at a car show so it's not a big deal when you are leaving and have to worry about a crowd.

Looks well built with a nice interior...now back to the topic...

At some i've gone to they'll do all the thank you's and that and very last thing is the 50/50 and that's the end.
