like it says guys I'm wayy up north, get the -55 for a couple weeks a year but come summer we all like to cruise( 400 kms to the closest car show I know of and 800 is common )< winnipeg. My father in law had a old 67 Laurentian in the garage( 4 door/ 283 reallly big body) but the interior still has the plastic on it. He gave it to my wife who will not drive a non power assisted steering so I took it on as a project.
over the winter I had air ride put on, tint, shaved the crome and door handles and gaskets all around the doors and trunk.
I need a disk conversion, bigger engine and sucide the rear doors.
Nice to have a car I can cruise in, get in 2 car seats and still fit 4 bodys in the trunk.
needs a rear view mirror, thing keeps dropping on me and can't be ajusted if anyone knows where I can get a new one. paint and body are being done as well.
Are you adding Pwr. Steering so the wife can drive it?.
Since you're pimping your car, before peeling the seat plastic keep in mind someone w/ an original car may want to swap their seats and $ for yours?.
Sorry man bench seats are the best I might peel off the plastic but I'll never let the bench seats go there the best part of a hwy car. no not adding power steering, it MINE! all MINE! I just sunk 10 grand and don't want her dinging it at walmart :)
