a little about my insanity (other projects )

hey guys love it or hate it were all going to get to know one another so I thought before you start egging me on about not going original with the car I want to give you alittle preview of what I have been up to.

This was my last project:
n863195190_798529_4222.jpg
I turned a truck into the closest thing to a car possiable.
Audio was 5.1
n863195190_584359_2343.jpg
matching trailer.
n863195190_674214_5496.jpg
n863195190_1398026_2046.jpg
subs under the seats and down firing, amps mounted in the doors( 4 of them) each fused and accessable.
n863195190_584357_1932.jpg
dvd and power windows where there were none once
n863195190_798491_577.jpg
shaved rear
n863195190_1398038_3567.jpg
n863195190_584360_2628.jpg
thats inside the center ch built in the dash
n863195190_1398030_2767.jpg
a pillers

this is what happeneds when you let a body shop do the door poppers. :(

n863195190_2343083_9264.jpg

so to lay out a classic and put 22's on it shoulden't be too shocking ;)

of course this is manitoba, it was a long weekend I work underground and on the friday my insurance ran out so I parked it, this was saturday of the long weekend, insurance offices are closed on long weekends. autopac went back 5 years I never missed a payment so they gave me basic insurance on a stock f-150. good thing it was paid for or I would have been screwed.

live and learn right, new car has door poppers as well so I'll be checking all the gromets in the fire wall.

No loss it was a FORD. Just kidding that sure sucks to see all your work and money go like that. Like Cheech and Chong would all my dreams go up in smoke

door poppers are what release the door from inside when you shave the handles off, usally with a remote, like keyless entry but a popper pops the door open at the same time. they take alot of juice and I found out they can melt 8G wire if your not careful. the bad thing is the sound deadning is basicly tar on the floor and doors so once it started it wasen't going out, I threw snow water everything at it and it never even slowed down.

Good thing you are in MB and they covered you even though your insurance lapsed!! I doubt a private insurer would have done that!!!! that's sad to see, i knew a friend that lost a car that was in the family for 30 years at a fire at the stereo install shop...really sad...

Wow, not being a Ford guy I still have to say that hurts to see it.

Glad to hear Autopac did the right thing anyway. Not all their stories end that way I hear.
