Sure, I've had plenty of cars, but I kept the one that mattered and 42 years later it means more than ever.
Through divorce, financial bad times, years of little interest.....through it all, I kept it. At times I wasn't sure why, but I kept it. Good luck getting it from me now.
Yes. I ordered it in Silver Pearl with black stinger and interior. But, I grew tired of silver over the years.
If ever a car could be part of a life, this car has sure been a huge part of mine.

Silver is very nice but man red sure graps your attention. I had Corvettes for my wedding cars. My best man had a red 66 coupe and we borrowed a friend's yellow 66 coupe and I had a blue 73 roadster that I put the hardtop on for that occasion. My wife and I pulled up the rear in my father in laws 69 Continental. Great memories. Just see how that red mid style jogs my memories. Great looking ride Bob.
Bob you're a smart man to have kept her. I was speaking with the original owner of a 67 Beaumont last year at a car show. He worked at the dealer and prepped the car when it came in. To be able to answer the question yes to being the original owner must give you a big sense of satisfaction, and put a big ol' grin on your face!
Bob, you were lucky enough to have been able to order your dream car in the 60's while most of us were too young then. Good for you for keeping it all these years. The Stingray body style will always be the king as far as I am concerned and obviously 67 was the pinnacle year. One of these days I will find a way to get a roadster with side pipes and a 4 speed...
