I assume some of you are going to this show. There were lots of great Pontiacs (and other neat GM cars - several 427 cars that I saw) there last year. Hope someone will post some photos.
Steve once again did an amazing show. We are SO lucky to have this litterally in our back yard. The biggest and best car show in Canada hands down and in my opinion better than Pebble Beach. Pebble Beach doesnt have a live entertainment night,Air show,and so on, and open to anyone to come and doesnt cost big$ just to be there. Hats off to Steve Plunkett for another great show. Iam very fortunate to have worked for him and call him my friend.
Randy, I heard you interviewing Barry Maguire on the radio. Nice guy.
Yeah he's a classy guy. It was a spur of the moment thing. I saw Barry taking pictures with people and i just got the last call for a cut in. So with about a minute before going on i asked if he'd come on the air and without taking that big smile off his face he was happy to oblige! Too bad i didn't see any of you guys. I was wondering around the whole three hours i was there and at that i didn't get to see everything! I would have stayed but we had a family birthday party to go to but we did come back to see Tommy James. Got a whack of tickets from work. Got a link to the pics on the other thread.
Barry was such a super nice guy. Besides taking pics with fans, taking time to do a radio inteveriew with me, I found out later in the day he took the time to talk to my sister in law's boy who's in a wheel chair, he has muscular dystrophy. Anyway Barry spent five minutes just with him. First rate guy in my book.
I agree thast awesome story to hear. He interviewed us because I wrote a story about my son that he read on the end of his show 4 years ago. I wonder when it will be aired. Im sure they will do a special on Steves Show, WOuld be great to see Barry interview that little girl on TV.
