Just received an email from Paul Bergstrom saying he has submitted the chapter charter paperwork to POCI and should have an answer back next week from the board of directors. We have 46 founding members for our new chapter. Pres. Joe Lizon (AcadianL79), VP Chris Pointon (Arcadian), Sec. Norm Hallett (Forespeed), Treas. Doug McCurdy, News Editor Raymond White (73SC), and Paul Bergstrom (Web Site Adminstrator).
We also need a Charter Logo for our New Chapter, Please submit your sugestions to Joe Lizon or Paul Bergstrom. We may start with a Maple Leaf, Pontiac Face, Acadian, & Beaumont emblems. Let us know what you think.
Special Pontiacs, Acadians, & Beaumonts display at Dayton Ohio on July 7th thru the 12th. If you planning to attend please let us know so we can provide you with one of the of all Canadian Special Display parking places at the POCI/GTOAA Co-Vention. We would like to be well repsented with our RARE CANADIAN CARS.
Also we will have our first Canadian Specialty Chapter (CPSC) meeting there. I will have to call Steve Fluery to set up a time & date for a meeting room. Hope to see as many members there as possible, Let me know so I can have a head count for this meeting. More details to follow.
All the CPSC Officers would like the thank all the Founding Members, 46 as of now in helping start this new Chapter that will give our Canadian Cars the exposure they deserve.

We were chatting about this yesterday with other POCI members we met at Hamilton at the Classic GTO club of Ontario's all Pontiac Day. I could ride down with Astro Jet because he is going. My issue is time off work. From July 17 to August 4 I'll be at our Georgian Bay Cottage on vactaion, it is really difficult to schedule the week of July 6th off too, especially given Canada Day is on the first of July and I am the Chair of our Rotary Club Ribfest BBQ that day. I'd be at work six whole days in July!!
