No more medium-duty trucks after July.

Thats no wonder. They could not compete in this market either. I can't believe they still did not have an air suspension in the topkick, or a cab that would hold up.

So now that this has been confirmed, what is the rationale for keeping both Chevy AND GMC light duty trucks?  Or is the next announcement going to be the discontinuance of the Chevy truck brand?  The NASCAR nation will just love that announcement....

Assuming they don't pull out of NASCAR altogether, it wouldn't be bad to be Racing GMC's in the truck series and Chevrolet's in the car series.  Brand exposure for 2 of your 4 brands.

The New GM commercial clearly shows GMC trucks but no Chevy Trucks in it's 4 brand pitch.

Before we were cut we were a Topkick dealer. Overpriced trucks as far as I was concerned. It's no surprise they would quit them.

I think Vern is making an assumption. From my perspective I see every press release and every TV and print commercial showing GMC trucks BUT no Chevy Trucks. Both Brands have loyal followings and both brands market to different segments. Maybe they can co-exist in the New GM BUT one thing is certain, GMC engineers all the trucks whether they say GMC, Chevy or Cadillac on the grille.

If you watch that commercial there ain't no sign of a Chevy Truck.
