G8 at the local drag strip

Was at the local drag strip today and seen a G8 perform, and not bad, this car ran in the mid 13's on street tires. Pontiacs last muscle car ?

This car ran mid 10's,  was intriduced as a Nova, chevy II every thing but an Acadian.

Saw one of these hot rods at work today, the new co-gen plant in Thorold. Yanke plates, didn't see who owned it, but I may have to stake out the parking lot.
