throttle

I have a 99 GMC with the 5.3 vortech. Problem is everytime i stop the pedal sticks. Give it a little bump and its fine. ITs been like this for a while but with Californias budjectfuriousfuriousfuriousfurious the cops have to justify themselves so this is now exibition of speed. No burnout no lose of traction  not taking off faster than anyone else just a little rev. Anyone know how to fix this?confuse

throttle body is carboned up, causing the throttle plate to stick closed, needs a cleaning.

get an old toothbrush and a spray can of 'intake' cleaner. pull off the air intake hose, open the throttle plate and scrub and spray away. lay a thick rag under the opening to keep the overflow off the belt.
