Is this place in Elfros? I was in Wynyard 2 summers ago doing some work for Lilydale, and went for a little drive one evening.
No it isn't. To me that looks like Viscount, I believe. If it is, it is about an hour or better west of Wynyard. Most of the cars I added to the registrys are from Elfros which is 15 minutes east of Wynyard! Did you trave east or west on your little drive???
Hey ...In our trip to Edmonton. We are going to Drummhellar to see Dino and his friends. How for are these car places away from it?
From Saskatoon, Viscount is @1 hour and Elfros is just over 2 hours away! Foam Lake is 2 1/2 hours east of Saskatoon on the #16 Yellowhead. If you have a map in front of you or mapquest, you will see it. From Foam Lake to Edmonton or Calgary, it is about 8-8 1/2 hours. So I would guestimate at least 6-7 hours from Drummhellar!

Thanks, but the wife would kill me on a 6 hour drive to see some old cars. I will see that museum by Red deer though.
I would be collecting alot of cars too. If only these damm kids didn't cost so much LOL
Great story Vincent ! I'm glad you made it home safe, I hope you dealt him down from his original price, now it makes me want to go get that 67 GP 428 I found, it's only a 4-5 hours trip for me and I am already nervous and fearing break downs ??? What did you figure you got for gas mileage ?

Hey Vincent, By the way I know what you mean by that weak transmission crossmember frame anchor, mine fell off the driver side when I got my 1970 Bonneville convertible parts car towed home. I will have to pay attention to these little details if I go get that 67 GP.
Vincent, I enjoyed your trip story last summer and reread it again this morning. I don't think we ever met but we have mutual friends here in Nfld, the Lannons. Gordon gave me your phone # a couple of years ago to maybe drop by and see your place. I was driving truck out of S'toon for a number of years and in the spring and fall would be hauling NH3 and used to stay in Watson. Brendan.

Ahhh, you are the famous Brendan that Paul was talking about!!! Was talking to him last week and he again asked if I had seen you... Of course I said no but since I know who you are now, you will have to inform me when you arrive west again!!!!!!!
Vincent, I don't know how but I missed your story last summer. Great adventure. Did you get the 2 dr post car yet?
Hey John! At times during that trip I wish I was the editor and not the author!!! But all things being said, I did make it and it was an experience!!!
The 2-dr post? Got it but it is a heck of a lot more rusty car than the Saskie cars for sure. There is rust in that one that you will only see in your neck of the woods and usually not found here! But, oh well.................
