Big day down in St. Thomas, Ont. yesterday. For father's day they had the wheels part in the perfect setting of Pinafore Park. And the wings end of things was out at the airport. Car show ended kind of early so my dad and i migrated out by the airport and parked along the road to catch the end of the show. Just in time for the Snowbirds. Also got lucky seeing the A10 Thunderbolts and with the Snowbirds the F-86 Sabre commemorating 100 years of powered flight in Canada. Had to throw in the picture of the cake my wife made too. Sorry about picture size, i was just happy that my computer would load the pictures at all this time. Enjoy!
I didn't know our family made cars

Great shots Randy but why are some of them "mega-sized" while the others are the normal size? I've had this problem as well. Are we not doing something right when we upload?

Wow 3 old GMC's at one show. i like the 2 57's not to sure of the last green one. looks like a 55 bumper but replaced the center part with a tube grill
Steve that last one was a '56. I'm not sure why those pics are so large Hillar. I thought maybe it was because i used the zoom. But for the air photos those were all taken at max zoom so i'm not sure of the reason. I was just so happy that they uploaded.
still a nice truck. my impression was that the 56's didn't have the filler panel between the running/signal light and the bumper. if you check out the recent post about GMC's the real nice extenda cab doesn't have that filler.
wish i would have been able to make it, would have loved to see another 59. thanks for the pix. Theres one in wortley village tues. Im going especially since it only 6-7 blocks away, i can push the car home if i need too!!
I didn't notice a price on the 59. It wasn't even in the show, just sitting off with some other cars. Glad i spotted it. When i was driving to work yesterday i noticed that the Snowbirds were still down at the airport. Still there last night too. Wish i knew when they were taking off. If i had the chance i'd go watch.
